What is a Laser and how does it work?
A laser is an intense beam of light that travels in one direction. This beam can cut, seal or vaporize skin tissue. Lasers have been used to treat skin lesions since the 1960’s. Recent technological advances make laser treatment the preferred method of care for many skin blemishes such as tattoos, age spots, wrinkled skin, stretch marks, scars and warts.
